The Cape West Coast speaks starkly of the Danish North Sea, the wheat growing Swartland doubles as is the central European steppes, the Overberg could be Newfoundland or New England, and the sleepy wine-growing Boland, with its hillside olive groves, so closely resembles France and Italy.
